AGL ARM Prototype Development - Hisao Munakata, Renesas

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This session is the introduction of AGL ARM prototype project. AGL is an opensource DEVELOPMENT project to create common Linux asset for automotive use. Before defining own distribution we should learn which existing Linux solutions are ready for automotive and which are not. AGL ARM Prototype project is an approach to studying this on real automotive target hardware as it might require a unique feature like robustness against sudden power fail or shutdown time guarantee. We evaluate existing generic (=PC target) or automotive target distribution like Tizen IVI, GENIVI to find the gaps between automotive demands. Once gaps identified, AGL will allocate shared resource to obtain such demands on top of existing asset. In this session, I will introduce project scope and a latest result. Also, I mention how you can access project resource and investigation result.
